Modern [Middle Age] Drummer?

Whoa,
It's been over a year since my last post. Big changes. I finally rented a house. Another big change happened yesterday. Picture 1989, I am ready to rotate back from Europe and end my enlistment. Not trusting Big Brother to ship my drum set safely I sell it to another enlisted person. I figure I can buy another back in the states. Fast forward to 2009. Guitar Hero has come out. My daughter is expressing interest in drumming. I never got around to buying another kit. I always seemed to living in apartments or too poor. I have been watching craigslist for awhile for drum sets. Friday I found a used Yamaha DTXplorer set. It lists for $700.00 new. I got it for under $400. I got home last night, set up and played for over an hour until fatigue/ sore back kicked. Middle age sucks. It seems like 1989 all again. Played for two hours today while doing the laundry. If you ever gave up on hobby or sport. It's always there to go back to. Roll back the clock. Thank god I never had big hair back then.
